Took more work than expected. Ended up using a knee pad just to save some skin, almost sent without it so I feel I can say imo it only slightly changes the difficulty - maybe half a grade at most. I’ve heard some say the first move is the crux; perhaps I’m just tall, but I genuinely found it to be the easiest (if a little blind), and I did in fact start this one truly seated. -

Good moves, good rock. Why did I see nobody sit starting??? Like 10 people came and tried this and they all started crouched with the toe hook already placed. Sit Start, butt on the ground!!

First V7! Undercling move was the crux but the top out was soaking wet and felt like the mental crux -
Nice. Spent a few sessions trying sans knee pad, but caved today and gave it a go with one. Definitely made the crux move significantly easier.

Could see consensus being V6 with a special tactics and being on the taller side.

after being unable to do any moves the other day, i came back fresh ready for the toe hook to feel good. it still felt terrible, but luckily kneebar beta made this easy. still...kind of a tricky knee bar!

I love this boulder! Cool movement, beautiful setting, nice holds. Psyched it didn’t give me tennis elbow today! The last couple of sessions on it have resulted in some ouchy tendinosis, but maybe I just overdid it those trips. -

My first V7!! -

My only clear objective for the trip. After a long ass drive with little sleep, the banks not giving me cash for the campground and jungle condies made this a real victory. Also this climb is stellar. Used a toe hook, kneebar and heel hook. So many tricks! So many stars!

Always wanted to try this one. Really fun compression to a very flexible high heel rock over which I enjoyed thoroughly. Really nice spot right next to the river so close to the camp ground. -

Amazing problem! Maybe my favourite boulder in Squamish? Impossible to say. Thought I was gonna spend a couple hours there puzzling beta but Emily showed me the way right before she left and I fired it first go. Felt so good! Like a dream dude!

Great quality fun problem which gets easier with each move.

This took me a while. Felt hard until it didn’t. Slightly dabbed the pad with my toe when I went I bring my foot into the heel hook, finished the problem, came down, rested, sent again, no dab, celebrated. Wonderful problem.

First single session of the grade (if you don't count land that time forgot, which I don't). Really fun process. Praise be to Luke for the spray down. -

Getting the beta figured out for the bottom section took a bit of work, but a really quality problem all in all -
