Feels soft for V6. Started with the low foot, definitely feels invalid if you pad stack and start with the higher foot as that skips the crux move -

High foot way, still felt hard. Later moves were harder for me than the first move, but that could have been the 85 degree day and high humidity. -
Worked the moves for a while the other day (jake sent, will and John hanging out) then did it first try today (solo sesh). First moves feels easy if your shoulder is fresh and very hard it not. Other than that, you can get by with activating zero muscles if you know your foot beta. Book grade, but I would've believed anything down to 3. Slabs are hard

2nd go, with a little pad help, removed the pad and sent again -
first flash of the grade, used high foot as that appeared to be the obvious choice. Perhaps will go back to try with the low foot option.

Should have flashed but my foot work beta was questionable. Repeated it right away after first sending. A great climb!

Failed to pull off the ground, then did the whole problem.. so.. flash? -
I could see how this could be tough if you were short and/or inflexible, but if you are taller and stretchy it's definitely soft for the grade... That being said I was definitely terrified my left toe was gonna blow off and I would scrape all the skin off my knee -

Full value for the shorties! Don’t cheat yourself by starting with the high left foot- moving your feet up is the crux -

We walked up to the Boulder not knowing the beta, the high foot seemed like the most obvious way to climb it so we used it. I now see it’s V6 if you eliminate the most obvious foot to climb the Boulder? Personal grade would be probably V3 but I could see it being tricky for people with not so good hip mobility. Bouldering is weird 🤷🏻♂️

Left hand side pull, right hand Gaston, this is the intended beta which definitely makes this a V6 climb. I would advice not using the high foot beta because you'll miss out on what a spectacular climb this is, and you'll experience the 'Sea of Doubt'. -

I'm guessing the beta of starting with a high left toe makes this pretty soft, and allows you to avoid the original hard stemming back step. -

Flexible hip helps alot. Trust the foot -
A fun stemmy short problem. Hardest part is getting off the ground. Likely easier if you're very tall as you can skip the middle moves and reach the lip

2018-08-24Super insanely high step. Being tall and flexible makes it easier. I thought I was cheating the start until I saw videos of others doing it the same way. A sit to this would be an absurd project. -

Well it has some nifty moves, but as a taller dude I kept my foot on the same hold for the entire boulder until a little lerp to the lip. -
