First send in the amphitheater, the final send felt much easier.

First 12, 5 tries over several sessions. Had to fight for it!

My first 13, 2.5 years after I first climbed in a gym. I expected this to be the season's project - psyched to get it so quick in 12 tries. A stellar line that tests the full body fitness and skill of the climber. Climb quickly and efficiently and the redpoint will come!

A nice change from Pushers, short and powerful - at least the way I climbed it. I went straight up through the crux, to the right of the draw line. A must climb in the amphitheatre. Edit: if Code is 12c (even soft), this is 12d.

Super funky kneebars on this one! I thought it was a little harder than globe. My send of globe was very controlled, but on this I almost fell on every move after the breadloaf. I literally thought I was falling, but then the handjam stuck! Still almost fell getting the clipping hold.

Real rock climbing? I really surprised myself when I didn't end up hanging in the rope. I was pretty sure my sending muscle had atrophied, but I guess not. Stoked to get the send train with Ryan!

Easily the sickest thing I have ever tried. This one took a lot of work, but every day I made it one move further into the crux, so it never felt like a chore to go climb on it :)

Such a rad line. The traverse after the crux is a little contrived, but flows nicely. Maybe one of the best redpoint burns I've ever had.

I couldn't really find a way to climb this which worked for my height. It always felt like I was too big for the box. Definitely harder than Smooth Bore and Code, but also a lot more awkward. 6 goes

Turns out I actually like wrangling pigs. You just have to do it enough so that you get good at it, then it becomes a pleasant past time. Or maybe I still hate Warthog and am just telling myself I learned to like it because I brought home the bacon and sent Dinosaur Highway, meaning that my time wrangling pigs on Warthog was indeed for the greater good? Only time and diligent self-reflection (both of which will undoubtedly drive those around me to insanity) can reveal. Anyways, I'm super stoked to tick this king line!

Devil worshiping brings the pump down but might reduce you to a 5.11 climber in the long run

This one is for the lanky lads with a real gorilla mindset. Definitely easier if you're tall. Cool climb, heinous flapper. 7th go :)

I liked this one more than Suburbia. The foot cut move between knee bars at the lip is rad! The whole route is quite pumpy. Glad to be done using that undercling though, my flappers need a rest
