11 bolts

Description: edit

Shares the first 3 bolts of vertical climbing with Driven (14a). At the beginning of the roof follow the right line of bolts out the center of the roof. Fun roof climbing leads to a powerful crux just past the lip of the cave.

Once I had the beta down it wasn't too bad, but still, a burly and rather unpleasant top section

Never thought I'd get up to climbing one of the big boy (and girl) routes. Thanks to Samuel for opening my eyes to the possibility by sending it first. And for handing me his beta - even to the point of jugging up to the crux to take pictures of the footholds...The crux sure is burly but can be made manageable with beta refinements, especially that left kneebar to get into the breadloaf. That last throw to the handjam will probably always be desperate though.

Easily the sickest thing I have ever tried. This one took a lot of work, but every day I made it one move further into the crux, so it never felt like a chore to go climb on it :)

Beautiful steep line up the middle of the cave. Can be a bit of a heartbreaker just a few moves before the chains if you're a wee bit too pumped.

    Still haven't sent 8a.
