very beta intensive and pumpy but so fun, the landing is a bit uneven and is a scary down climb. its best to look for your own beta for the bottom section of this climb!

An amazingly flowy lower section that gives way to a variety of beta intensive sequences before reaching the top. The micro crimps were very intimidating at first but once you figure out a beta that works for you, it goes. The foot holds are amazing, which allow you to hold onto the tiny holds.

Intense bottom section with a lackluster second half, but I loved working out the beta that works best for me. A crimpy puzzle and I see why it's a classic. -

I was never too interested in this boulder and mostly did this for the tick. My opinion has not changed post-send. The meat of the climb was just a traverse with glassy feet and janky deadpoints. I enjoyed Chuck Norris (direct variation of same climb) much more. Very beta-intensive and pumpy but no physically hard (for the grade) moves. Not sure about it's "benchmark" status either - to me it felt on the easier end of the grade but I'm pretty sure I am alone here. Gotta remember to mat the top better when I come back for one inch punch since I fell from the top woulda been ugly.

My fingers were finally ready to work through the delicate opening sequences! A great and rewarding multi session climb for me. Stoked on the history of it too! I would recommend checking the top section out before you arrive there for your first time pumped and ready to punt!

Ultra classic, as good as everyone says. Don't think I've ever seen 2 people use the exact same beta....did the bottom section in like 5 moves. -

Psyched to send this one since I was scared of how tall the X Boulder is! Great crimpy traverse with some tall jugs at the end! Lots of fun!

Mentally prepared for this to be my 2020 season project but I sent it on session 1 in only 7 burns! So sick! Such a good vibe the entire session. A Sonnie Trotter line :) -

For me, this was one of those climbs that took multiple sessions of projecting because I could do all the moves but piecing it all together felt impossible. Incredibly beta intensive. Whenever I came back to this climb- I felt like I forgot what I did the last time so I'd waste a lot of skin trying to remember. This day, I had it dialed in and I knew all I had to do was send! Feels so good to tick this classic off. -

Didn't get very far on it last time out; pleasantly surprised to get it in a handful of tries this time. Fun experience in setting aside beta that worked for others and working out a sequence that bagged the send. -

Hard to climb the flakes gracefully if you blow your feet three times at the apex of the triangle like a diseased moron. First go today but I remember trying it back around 2006 so can't claim the flash. -
