the start position used to feel impossible but today it was chill. nice ! first day out of the season. shambolic weather that ended up turning into prime conditions. there is zero difference in difficulty between the stand and the sit of this problem imo. i'm assuming some holds have broken or something since the grades were proposed.

if this was on a standalone boulder, it would be 5 stars. what a move. everything before and after that move is fantastic as well. top is heady af but actually very secure. was intimidated by the fall zone for years but decided to give it a go today and it went down relatively quickly after finessing the body position.

damn, this took me quite a few sessions over the years. the second move always felt heinous. didn't feel too bad today and got it second go. love this whole boulder so much. mega sesh with the homies. will come back to repeat this sans-poche for the purity.

taking V7+ for this. the bottom section is fun, really nice V7- movement on cool fingery holds but the top face is extremely heady and thin which takes this, as a whole, up to V7+ for me. it is seriously a do not fall situation up there; make sure you're not so pumped that you can't down-climb back down. managed to figure out the beta for the top on third or fourth attempt.

this is definitely V7 without condies. cruised it today in beautiful 12° temps. used left sidepull beta with far left feet. fantastic sequence. psyched !

got this second go after doing the stand. so psyched ! amazing sesh with em and nima; condies are finally here !

this adds a few cool core-intense moves to natural gas and improves it in my opinion. definitely makes it worth doing. let me know if this has been done before !

honestly, this slaps. tricky af and very rewarding once you finish it.

surely this deserves an upgrade. 😔 the holds are too polished for it to still be V2.

sorry but i'm doin it; i'm ticking it as a soft V7 lol. i think it would be stiff V6 without the dab factor but the extra full body tension you have to hold throughout the bottom half just edges this into V7 territory in my opinion. i think the dabbyness unfortunately is a bit too annoying for me on this one. sometimes i like a good anti-dabber but this one was just not enjoyable for me. it almost completely ruins this otherwise super sick board climb. third attempt.

movement is just okay on this and the end feels so arbitrary. meh. felt good to get it first go though. (:

this is so so amazing. a spectacular sequence of moves on an obvious line on a mega huge boulder in a beautiful forest with two top tier homies. doesn't get too much better than this in my opinion. perfect way to end the trip.

this is easily one of the most enjoyable V3s i've ever done. so nice i climbed it twice.

i think the top section is pretty burly if you're under ~5'9". super aesthetic and enjoyable to figure out.

greased off of the second hold on first go lmao. went down second go fairly easily. pretty boulder ! moves were a bit spanny and weird for me though so only 4 stars.

aesthetics is doing a lot of the heavy lifting for this one; not super enjoyable in my opinion. sent second go cause i initially read it as a compression problem lol.
