This thing is so hard for me! I think my longest standing project. Made a bit of progress today and then miraculously found myself on top. I had to focus really hard on driving my left toe into the rock. The crystals are what they are.
I have never spent so much time looking at crystals. I had never tried this thing with fresh skin ever, until today. Felt easy but I know it’s still hard. Such a specific grip position and hip positions. Psyched to finally put down the mini proj !
Yay! Hadn't tried this in 4 or 5 years and was psyched to see the difference that time has made. Start hold still feels weird... couldn't pull my ass off the ground for a couple tries then sent. I don't get it! Mind = bent
First V9!! SO stoked! Got the normal start pretty quickly, then Trev and Nate said might as well work on the low start. Second session I missed the good sloper a few times. Dialed in the moves, then the third session, tried the first moves a few times to get acquainted with it again. Then it all came together.
I have tried this problem off and on for 10 years. It felt really good to finally do it. I attribute my recent progress to hours spent on the fingerboard this winter. This was also the first time I climbed something notable alone.
