  I bore witness to the King of Grotto declare this route, not only the best 11c in the canyon, but the best in the Valley. Nervous murmurs circulated amongst those gathered along Hemingway. What of Liquid Skies and Mind Games? DEW Lines and Soft Machines? The King unbothered, gathered his retinue and departed to do battle upon the Water Wall. Hesitantly, we approached. Through vicious struggle, we came to understand what he’d seen in his ascent of this walk, and it was wild.
