A New Chapter for Sendage

Sendage has been rebuilt from the ground up.

After years of maintaining the original platform, I wanted to build something that could better reflect how climbers actually climb today — logging sends, tracking projects, exploring new areas, following friends, and understanding progression over time.

The new Sendage is that next chapter.

Free climbing logs for everyone

Logging sends on Sendage is free.

This is something I came to realize as I listened to feedback from climbers using the new platform. The core experience of recording climbs and building a history of climbing should be accessible to everyone.

Sendage is meant to become a shared climbing log — the more people who use it and the more climbing that gets recorded, the more useful it becomes.

There are no limits on the number of sends that can be logged.

PRO

Sendage PRO is paid subscription for climbers who want to get more out of their climbing data.

PRO includes advanced statistics and insights designed to help understand progression, climbing habits, grades, and performance over time.

I'm also continuing to build new features, including offline mode, and PRO subscribers will get first access to new features as they are released.

The goal is for Sendage to have a genuinely useful free experience while giving people who climb seriously, love their data, or simply want more from the platform additional tools to explore.

Built for climbers

Sendage is more than a climbing log.

It's a way to discover climbs and areas, keep track of projects, record attempts and repeats, follow what friends are climbing, and build a history of your own climbing.

The new platform gives me a much stronger foundation to keep improving all of this.

This isn't just a redesigned website. The entire platform now runs on a modern backend, with brand-new native iPhone and Android apps and a new web app — all sharing the same foundation. Everything is faster, more reliable, and consistent across every device, and new features can now ship everywhere at once instead of trickling out one platform at a time.

There are still a lot of things I want to build.

Offline climbing data. Better maps. More useful statistics. Better ways to discover climbs. More ways to understand progression. And features that make Sendage increasingly useful both at the crag and away from it.

I'm building Sendage for climbers, and I'm going to keep listening to climbers as it evolves.

A note about the previous announcement

When the new Sendage launched, the plan was to allow 20 free send logs and then require a subscription for continued logging.

After listening to the feedback and thinking more about what Sendage should be, I've decided to change that approach.

Logging sends is now free. Subscriptions are focused on PRO features instead.

I'm grateful to everyone who gave the new Sendage a try, shared feedback, and helped shape where it goes next — and especially to those who have chosen to subscribe. Your willingness to pay for Sendage has been a meaningful vote of confidence in the project.

This is the next chapter of Sendage, and I'm excited to keep building it.
