True Grit – 5.10b
East End of Rundle
180m / 591ft
SO MUCH FUN!!! be warned: it would probably be pretty scary as a 10b climber...
After work romp
Felt full on for 6 pitches. Love that limestone slab
Grade II. Not sure what variation we did. The route is being rebolted with glue-ins (a Canadian Tire bucket was attached at the anchors of Pitch-3). Stellar route though! Climbed with Cody Brown.
Leader 2 pitch sur 6 on était trois à grimper ensemble
Did the 10c on the third pitch. Linking the final 2 pitches makes for a long amazing climb! Very sustained and technical the entire way. Be prepaired for some smears!
Did the 10c variation. Technical and sustained bottom to top. Awesome!
Did the 5.10c section and it was well worth it. Great climbing
Sophie C. D'Avignon
Only had time for the first 4 pitches. The third pitch arête is awesome as is the following pitch in the corner. Other than that, be prepared to smear a lot!!!
Awesome! Hot day for some of those friction hots
Climbed it in 3 mega pitches, interesting climbing in a great position
Jonathan Van Huis
Run out section on the third pitch with possible deck potential. I would advise to do the variation 10c pitch. Over all the best and most sustained technical 10a I've ever done. If you love technical face climbing, this route is a must do.
Must do route. Technical and sustained. Some run out s on 3rd and 4th pitch
So good, I've been back a couple times. 3 long pitches is where it's at.
