Parenthood – 5.13d

FA: Maddy Marchuk - 2024-09-06

Description:   (under review)

Climb the bottom pitch of The Tribe using extended slings to reduce drag. At the ledge go straight up through the roof on fixed chain draws. Unlike most fingery routes at Ace, this route’s difficulty comes from the glassy slopers guarding the final pull up onto the arete.

The last bolt is for working the upper crux. Advisable not to clip it on redpoint as it puts unnecessary wear on your rope if you fall with it clipped.

13 bolts (8 of the bolts are fixed with chain or slings) - 23m - Clip-n-Go Anchors
