Lady Chainsaw is a Wet’suwet’en land defender who was arrested by the RCMP in 2020 for blocking the unconstitutional construction of a natural gas pipeline on Wet’suwet’en territory. In addition to the fact that the crux revolves around a chainsaw like tufa, the name of this route is directly intended to commemorate her efforts.

2020-07-24 (FA)Psyched to open this one up, felt as hard or harder than other 14b’s I’ve been on but can also be very condition dependent, so could be easier in the right conditions. About 12c up to the crux then fire into the chainsaw tufa for a long power enduro crux. Super rad! Extend the draws under the roof to stop rope drag.
