aidangermain: Instead of the heel, hit the pocket with your left, hit the arete with your right, then put a high left foot in the right starting hold. Lock off and shoot to the horn. Congrats! You skipped nearly every move in the climb. -
Jeremy Baziw: Started with low feet below and to the sides of the flake to help get off the ground. Used a right heel to bump right hand from the low crimp onto the pinch.

beta intensive middle section for shorties after the second move, but doable once you find your sequence. Stay tight and explore that heel until it feels just right :) Precise and hard first move.

2025-03-30First move crux for taller climbers. Middle of the climb crux for shorter climbers. Thankful this stays dry in the rain or else I wouldn't have climbed today.

First move was hard for sausage fingers, then bump RH all the way to the crack jug after heel-hook.

Sick climb, another awesome classic :) Wet conditions today but holds were pretty incut so it still went. I didn't do the heel.

season project for me. 3 sessions of working it total. That first move is the hardest move by far. Toeing down instead of heel hooking worked much better for me to get over to the right. -

Very fun! Heel hook beta was aggravating a previously injured knee so toed down with the right foot and back flagged left instead. Nice solo session boulder.

Hard first move. Then some fun climbing! Did a big throw to that big horn instead of using the heel hook beta. -
Soft for a V6 given how it's low to the ground and only a few moves and large, positive holds past the first move.

2nd try. Pretty darn good actually -
My first V6 at Glen. Surprising I was not stuck at the crux but later at the heel hook / flagging thing. Took extra time to figure out a micro beta to balance myself.

Great problem. Steep climbing on sharp pocket starts and into easier moves up top. Cool match hand move with a heel hook in the middle. Almost flashed the damn thing.

First V7! Worked this out pretty quick compared to other V6s but maybe it was my style. Edit: downgraded personal grade of V5 I don't really think this is V7 no matter who you are -
