Sit start on the incut flake hold. Climb straight up through small right hand sidepull/crimp before heading left into big slot. Very accessible for the given grade.

First move makes this a v8 for my 5’-3” frame. The top is not a gimme either! Punted there on a previous hot day. Glad I can move on. -

The only thing busted is the grade. But amazing climb

Incredible climb, first move is so fun and the big move is great. Comparable or easier than other 6s in the area like The Hole or Cruise Control. Definitely easier than any 7s in the area like The Shield or Dangle. No idea where you would get V8 from.

Birthday gift to myself -
Score! This one's loomed over me for awhile, for whatever reason (baking sun, too much hype) I never put in the work until recently. Sent the stand and the sit after about 30 minutes of effort this morning. I now understand its' popularity.

Sent in about 40 minutes. Cool move to a good undercling into some easy moves that set up for a big left reach. A choice of heel hooks supports this move. Second V8! Perfect end to a great weekend at leavenworth.

I achieved my goal for this trip, which was notching this! Finally could do the start move, don't know why it seemed so impossible before. Sticking the crux left hand feels so powerful and amazing. Topout takes a little strategy as well. One of my favorite climbs yet.

Last time I tried this was 2 years ago and it felt really hard. Cruised it first try today. It's nice to do something where I can see how much I have progressed lately. Very soft for V8.
