Leavenworth hosts some of Washington's best bouldering. While there are a number of roped climbs in Leavenworth, bouldering is what it's known for. The bouldering in Leavenworth possesses great variety, as the high quality granite changes from area to area.

Leavenworth can get quite busy in peak season, and if the rock in Squamish is wet, expect to see lots of Canadians in the area.
