2024-10-15This is my attempt at shedding more light on this nice new line. Envisioned by Tom Wright and FA’d by Kaya Mark near the end of June, 2023. Located directly next to another banger classic that a lot of boulderers know, Snake Taint, the right arete had been long overlooked. I came today with a hedge trimmer and cut back the foliage that was growing into the arete. For more than half the session today I was struggling, starting on an undercling I thought was the starting hold but it happened to be too high. Once I found the correct, lower one, it felt much more reasonable. Climbs well, dries fast and may be the most accessible boulder in Squamish, sitting proudly 12 steps away from the closest parking space. This one deserves more attention! Potential link up into Snake Taint possible.
