A 27m endurance test that demands sustained effort from the ground up. The route begins with a series of small technical cruxes before reaching the main difficulties higher on the wall. Several sections feature wide, insecure slopers where balance, precise footwork and constant body positioning are more important than pulling hard. A stalactite provides a welcome feature along the way, although it can become slippery after rain. The main crux arrives near the upper ledge, followed by a steepening section where the final clips become increasingly difficult without a good rest. Long, varied and relentlessly physical, The Land of Dragons is a standout endurance route that rewards efficient movement and careful power management.
