Colisseum
Description:
Situated high on the left side of Echo Canyon, the Colisseum is a distinct, amphitheater-like limestone formation that catches the sun early and offers a dramatic setting for moderate to advanced sport climbs. The rock is generally steep, featuring pockets, water-grooves, and technical vertical faces that demand good footwork. Because of its elevated aspect above the main canyon floor, it dries relatively quickly after rain and provides a cooler option during warmer summer afternoons.
