YHOP – 5.12b

12m / 39ft, 5 bolts

Description:

A short bouldery route! Climb crimps and sidepulls into a tension dependant crux and continue through the smaller finger jugs to a bomber rest. Save enough energy for the end because there is a sting in the tail! It is a rite of passage to fall on the sloper rail below the chains.

This route offers a lot of fun and has a great flow. The climb is pretty smooth up until you hit the first crux, which throws in an exciting boulder sequence that adds a bit of spice to the experience. Overall, it's definitely worth checking out!

Felt stiff for the grade. Took more attempts than a 12b usually takes. Otherwise, very nice route with some lovely bouldering movement. Fairly sustained.

Pulled so hard I sharted on the send burn. It was worth it though.. also the left sidepull one move after the rest broke off back in february so the traverse right is a bit harder but still fine
