Dan Beland: Sufficient gear for me would be yellow and grey alien + doubles .5 and .75, 3x #1, 1x of #2 and #3. + However many bolts the slab is... 10 would be plenty. Never placed any nuts. -
Andrea S: Forget about the gear suggestions of triples of 1-2s or the #4 unless you are breaking in to the grade

Me and my wife followed a guide up on top rope. Not sure if this counts as a send in the world of multi-pitch. He told us this is the best 5.8 in Canada - i don't rope climb all that much, but he is almost certainly correct. Beautiful views of the Howe Sound from above and waterfalls pouring beside you climbing through perfect splitter granite cracks.

Thank to rope gun Tom and bringing me out of the gutter this trip we absolutely crushed this beautiful climb in 2hs flat in the dark. My first night time climb, hands down one of my favorite adventures this year in BC -

8-Pitches, climbed with Vivian Pow. Lead pitches 1, 3, 5, and 7. Great climb! Had done Klahanie Crack several times preciously. 4 hours car to car.

Awesome to rip this with Seb at 4:30 in the morning and be back in town for breakfast! Beat the crowd and the heat by a long shot.

Way better then Skywalker. Super fun. Klahanie was probably the hardest pitch. Linked pitches 3 & 4. Then 7 & 8, with a 70m. Wouldn't recommend linking the last 2 because communication can be difficult

Skywalker is better -
5:15am start and we had the route to ourselves! Really loved it. Found Klahanie to be the hardest as it has the most consistent crack climbing. We linked 2&3, 5&6, and 7&8- my leads were 2&3 and 5&6. Really enjoyed P5 next to the waterfall, and the fun slab that follows. Would climb again 🩵

2023-06-30Lovely pre-work romp. Klahanie Crack felt like the hardest pitch, then the slab, and then I'd subtract 1 grade for all the other pitches. Last 2 are def not 5.8 and 5.6. More like 5.6 and 5th class scramble. My fave pitches were 2, 5 and 6. The position by the waterfall is lovely. What a fun climb!

Bunch of good chill climbing and great scenery. Crux was Klahanie with the slab being the 2nd most difficult/technical but very well protected.

Doesn't get better than this. Every pitch is good, and ends with a pool above a waterfall to jump in

Stoked to have finally check this thing off! Slab pitch felt tough. But overall pretty decent climbing. Water levels were pretty low today

Surreal climbing next to the waterfall. My favorite pitch of climbing was probably the first if you take the views/setting out of the equation. Don't forget to breath and enjoy the views! -

A must do in the sea to sky corridor, perfect for a beginners first trad lead and multipitch! I don't know where the 5.8 grade comes from.

P1 Klahanie and P5 are great climbing, the rest is very meh climbing. That being said the view throughout is great and the pools are better. Very soft

Amazing position beside Shannon Falls. Pretty memorable, stoked to come back and lead it -
Absolutely incredible route. Best 5.8 Multi in Squamish. Slab is super well protected, so no worries there. The crux is definitely midpitch in Pitch 5, transferring from one crack to the other, when you're a decent bit above (bomber) gear. Tall people might think the grade is soft, but if you're below average height and have fat fingers (like me), that sequence is definitely 5.8. -
Fun adventure with son #2 with a 4pm start to avoid the crowds. I thought the pitch 6 slab might deserve 5.9 - there is nothing like having an inattentive 13 year old belaying you to intensify the lead experience! -
Great company (thx Tim!), good views. A fun early morning romp, even if we spent more time waiting at belays than actually climbing. Led all pitches harder than 5.6

Squamish version of Tak falls Minus the choss. Incredible position right beside the waterfall on p5! Link p2-3 and p7-8 for sure. Friendly bolting and nice Belays. Good on the guys who put this up! Was very wet today hah -
