Snowjob – 5.10a (trad)

Description:

A crag classic. Great rock and a very direct line. Start below a small overhang with a rotten pin. Mantle onto the overhang and climb straight up passing another pin, up the overhanging headwall on flaring cracks. Protection is difficult. This climb originally had more fixed protection but has since rotted away. Snow job is now a serious lead. Could use a bolt. However, a recommended lead and required reading for the aspiring escarpment hardman, especially in its current state. This climb was the entry point for many climbers venturing into the 5.10 grade in the 80s and 90s, but it should not be yours.

Started between the trees, went straight up past a bolt to a nice perch, and then traversed right under the slight lip.
