  Per Topout "SDS Start as Snake Eyes, but move straight up the arête" I used a bunch of slopers instead of the crimp and mangly sidepull. This line makes a lot of sense when the hunter is wet like it was today. Idk if we need eliminate rules, felt like a pretty natural way to climb the boulder (obvious start hold then go up)

  I truly have no idea what grade this boulder is. I would believe anywhere from soft 8 to solid 5. Maybe it's just my style, maybe I used the wrong beta, who knows...fun overall.

  A very unusual climb in between the Hunter (V7) and Snake eyes (V9). Not the most enjoyable climb I've done. DO NOT use the pocket as it's out for this climb.

  Very contrived beta. Try not to confuse with The Hunter! The right section including pockets is entirely out. Go straight up to the right crimp/pinch then go for the left crimp above you.

  Pretty sick! A very contrived eliminate I dont really understand. Maybe Ill redo it with harder beta another time. I think I did different beta than others. Started on the same undercling but used a right toehook, pulled to the two finger pocket then switched to a right heel to bump to a pinchy pocket inches right of a crimp. Cool moves. Nice easy topout

  Made the mistake of not checking out the moves after getting the toothy thing on the arete. Held on because I did not want to embarrass myself infront of hikers who had stopped to watch, and was rewarded with light applause. Last stop of the day. Went surprisingly quick.

  A less-travelled line. Now I am left with 'snake eyes'... this thing is gnarly... ***a chunk of rock down low has broke off making a much better foothold - personally, I find this climb easier now - V7??
