  mikefriesen:   I used tall kneebar beta for the crux: right hand on the jug, left hand undercling, step a right kneebar in, then reach high with the right hand to the slightly slopey flat edge. Walk into a right heel, bump the left hand up to the closer of the two spike crimps, then cut feet and swing the left foot onto a good protruding spike out left. Get your body under the left hand then cross the right hand underneath to the other spike & unwind out left and find the kneebar rest.

  Toby Foord-Kelcey:   Several people have commented that the 3rd fixed draw (4th bolt) on this route is a dangerous clip. You can come close to hitting the ground, or the pointy boulder behind, if you pull up slack and fail to clip. This especially an issue for shorter people who can't reach good foot ledges that give taller folk a more stable clipping position. Ideally the bolt would be moved about 30cm to the right and slightly lower, so it could be clipped before starting the crux. Some people use duct tape or bungie cord to reposition an extended draw on that bolt to a better position.

  With the taped long draw. First of the (guidebook) grade and perfectly in style - shoulder power and pretty good holds on this one. It ended up taking less work than any of my 13b's. Pretty stoked!!

  5 tries with amazing beta from Cat. You can gain a moderate but short-lived rest using an obvious knee bar in the middle of the route.

  Super excited to send this as my first 13c. In comparison to little sister and big brother I don’t think this is all that much harder but a very fun climb none the less. I used the extended draw and tape on the wall beta for the 4th bolt.

  Movement is really fun on this climb... used Marc Bourdon's beta of taping the 4th draw to make it clipable from below to reduce the risk of being impaled by the boulder beneath you.

  Almost hit the boulder after falling at the last draw. Make sure your belayer is paying attention! A little extra slack and you'll be on the boulder for sure. Aside from that the moves are cool. Apparently I was doing one section harder than necessary but it was too late to change my beta.

  At my age it is legit to log the guidebook grade. Really pleased to send this as I belayed Chris H back in 2017 while he was working the FA. A very short route but all the moves are interesting and the finish is classic.
