Sentry Box – 5.12a (trad)

Squamish > Murrin Park > Nightmare Rock

Description:

This classic crack climb was Squamish’s first 5.12, way back in 1976. Begin up an easy handcrack, get around the roof to a no hands perch. Some more good locks and jams lead to a technical fingertip seam right as you stared thinking “wow i’m getting close”.

Rope got stuck in the crack at the roof on 2nd try, couldn't pull up rope to clip and then whipped, ripped a cam and flipped. Shook off the jitters and did it next try.
