Reichenbach Falls – 5.11d
Description:
Located between Professor Moriarty and Sherlock Holmes.
Steep, sustained climbing following the thin seam through the offset overlaps in the bottom half. Difficulties ease off above. For a fun variation, merge into the upper dihedral of Moriarty after the sixth bolt (“Moriarty’s Madness”). Has ring anchors and backup anchors.

2026-05-10A really great climb. Took me way longer than most 11+.. surprisingly pumpy and could easily be 12a. Would def be 12a if not for the near full rest mid way. Crux around the 4th bolt. -
2023-04-29 (FA)Lower 3rd bolt added after the FA as the block used to clip the original 3rd bolt was removed. Now 8 bolts total. Feels a bit spicy between bolts 6&7 - slightly larger bolt spacing here due to rock quality, but it’d be a clean fall and the clipping position for bolt 7 is solid. Top half is much easier climbing, but will keep you on your toes. Merging into the top half of professor moriarty after the 6th bolt provides a high quality finish that avoids the spice.
