CTK: After clipping second perms, RH up to side pull below ledge, left foot up, LH to small side pull crimp on other side of ledge. This crimp is hard to find and doesn’t feel very good, but the compression of the two side pulls makes it work well. From here, slap up to the ledge. -

Took me maybe one less session than Fleeing Heifer. While I think that each individual move is technically speaking easier on this route I do think linking it all was harder for me.. nowhere to really rest, one reachy and one powerful clip and hot hot temps. Finally sent on the cooler day! -

First 12c! Great power endurance climb! Probably climbs in light rain (might be seeping in hard rain). Extending the 3rd and 4th quickdraws was a very good tactic ;)

The Jingus Americanus of Monastery. Really cool climbing and beautiful rock. Easiest of the grade I've been on.

wild windmill moves on holds that are much better than they look. caught the woo-train just as it left the station -
Sick to get the send on this last try before ending the day, maybe like 6 total. Felt pretty worn but motivated seeing Bertin work it as well to give me that last effort spurt. Congrats on sending as well today. -

Felt like a gym session. This was the right 12c for my first at the grade. If you're a stong boulderer, should go down quick.
