  Lex:   Hike to base of climb on Astro Ledge via North North Gully as lower pitches have allegedly been destroyed during previous rockfall. From the Astro Ledge, pitches are as follows: P1 (low 5th, ~15m) - nice to pitch this out. Easy yet exposed P2 (10c A0 / 12b, ~35m) - sick fist splitter to a 3-bolt ladder, followed by finger sized layback flake. Money. Felt like the crux pitch. P3 (10a/b, ~30m) - low angle corner with finger crack leads to a steep n sweet offwidth/chimney. 2 bolts help protect this. P4 (10b , 35m or 40m) - walk up and right onto a large block to start the vertical fist crack, which quickly narrows into hands and fingers. Pass the first anchor (left, two long chains) @ ~35m and belay at the upper anchor, as the moves returning to the crack (whether traversing or diagonally on the face) for the last 5m from the first anchor are a little awkward. P5 (low 5th, 20m?) - bushwack to the staircase and belay at the bottom of the elevator shaft P6 (10b, 25-30m) - thought provoking ascent of the elevator shaft. Do not enter the cave above, but climb RIGHT and up to the belay on a ledge. P7 (10a/b, ~25m) - squeeze the fridge and move around to the right. Up and onward to a belay near a tree (highly recommended). P8 (10b, ~30m) - step RIGHT from the belay up onto a ledge to enter the final chimney system (with a bolt to start). Climb the final roof (10b, burly) or move right around the corner to a 5.8 hand crack. Rack - we brought doubles from #0.3 to #4, with a single #5, and several slings. Leave the nuts at home. Could probably do with singles #0.3-#0.4, depending on your style. There are places for a #6 along the way but I wouldn't call it necessary gear.

  jwaya:   pitch 9 does NOT end in a cave belay, must exit the cave. it's best to belay from left side exit rap anchors. then belay for pitch 10 from the a different set of rap anchors to the right side ledge. i kept looking for the cave belay and had a shitty moment, but it was a great pitch and truly a quaint beautiful spot to stand on at the end.

  Awesome and adventurous outing. A great multi with consistent 5.10 climbing and plenty of offwidth/chimney throughout. Definitely a lot of inconclusive info out there on this one, so I'll share a bit more detail in the beta section.

  Tried to climb nch’kay but just ended up on PP I think. The 45m 10b pitch is magical. Did the 1st pitch wide section bypass. Nothing on this climb I didn’t love
