  Had to do it three times, cause I dabbed on first go, then dabbed again on the repeat. Ended up removing the pad off the rock for the exit on the third go lol. Super fun climb.

  Honestly a superb boulder. If you know anything about me you know I don’t like drop off boulders, especially if there is a path to the top. This one has a clear path to the top, it’s just quite a journey. To finish the last challenging movement, after you’ve passed where people normally step off, you finish at a jug at the crack and it still feels like you’re in a highball zone. Very padable and very fallable. I fell getting my feet up high due to wet footholds the session prior, so it is relatively safe to fall there. Once you leave this crack and head up the slab prow it very much gets into no fall, free solo mode for an additional 60 feet or more. It’s easy terrain. Possibly v1 slab. I don’t promote free soloing, nor do I recommend anyone do it but it was the only way for me to feel like I properly completed this king of a line. Jermey Smith was the FA of the One Zen topout and he tried to convince me not to do it. But for me it was worth it. I had an absolutely joyous experience on it and my focused preparation kept me safe and confident. It was a stunningly, beautiful view from the top. It was really a lovely day.

  Psyched on my first double digit! Changed starting foot and it went first try. Climbing is funny that way.. Super fun steep powerful climbing. Dabby rock and a drop off makes it kinda lame, but the movements were very fun.

  After 20mm of rain, this is the only boulder we could climb. Very nice movement and beta break with my hip flexibility. Also had my 3 finger tip splits superglued.

  Do the splits then a big reach back! Thanks Tim Catcher for the betaz that unlocked the start moves. Lame finish to this one, but fun movement. Easier if you're taller I would think, but that could be just the flexibility helping.
