OGMA – 5.12c

22m / 72ft, 12 bolts
FA: Ryan Murphy - 2022-09-11

Description:

Located up a short handline on the high left hand side of the crag. Start in the slanting dihedral near the base of the old fir tree. Hard climbing right off the ground and fairly sustained for the first 5 bolts. A few good rests offer a chance to recover between the multiple cruxes. Overhangs 2m over its length. Clip and lower anchors at the lip. It's not over till it's over...

5 star route for the lake in a 5 star setting, stays very dry, excellent technical boulder problems with oh so many rests. Not over til it’s over indeed ! First of the grade on the same day as my last exam ever ! 7 sessions. Thanks Conall, Faelan, Tristan for support and beta. Also learned a lesson about pirates while trying to be efficient and leave draws on warm ups.

Great climbing on this route! Many tricky sequences, one after another, but with good enough rests. Felt oh so hard on my first tries…

Awesome route. Hard climbing at the bottom and sustained climbing right to the chains. Really liked this one.
