Mystery of a Lost History – 5.12a

18m / 60ft, 6 bolts

Description:

The classic DG 5.12. The start usually seeps until mid summer. A must-do whenever it's dry. A boulder problem right off the ground on good edges leads to a good rest and awesome face climbing. Another big move crux up high takes you to a final redpoint crux with multiple solutions.

A hold recently partially broke at the top of the opening boulder problem making the exit move slightly more difficult.
(Summer 2018)

2nd go. I didn't feel like this is particularly high in the grade like I've heard people say. Maybe harder to onsight? I think overall Gwelp is harder

I thought this was quite a hard climb for the grade. The beginning part is sharp.
