Zach Y: Do an open hand two finger drag on the high right pocket. It makes everything easy. Felt easier than Monkey Bar Right once I did that. -

crystalshei: match the crimp (left hand in pocket, back flag), bump right hand to good crimp above, sit on right heel to get the low percentage snowman pocket hold.

First of the grade 😭 I'll take it. The one climb I was most looking forward to this trip. Prepared for the crux to the dot. So much so, I forgot my original, easer beta for the beginning traverse. Ended up doing it the taller/burlier way, but cool that it was possible! Top out was SCARY. I could barely feel my hands at a certain point. But I was determined to keep going and not bail. The holds are slopey, so you need to get feet high and mantle more than pull. Could barely breathe after, desert air + being pumped had my throat sticking together for 5 mins after the send lol

Had to get real creative with the beta on this one since the heel hook was a no go for me. Partially tore my MCL on this rig almost a year to the day. All this knee bar practice has been worth It. -

I really really liked this climb. Delicate. Got it second go. Definitely the easiest 7 I have done to date though and could be more of a 6, but who am I to say -

Crux was the top out for me. I chose to go right which I think was probably easier than out left to the snowman pockets. -

Must've really suited me, but I genuinely pulled on as a "let's see how far I can get without knowing the line". The closest to beta I got was I had to ask what the official topout line was so I made sure to go the proper way. -

Went down surprisingly quick. Excellent movement, committing last few moves.
