This climb was always a nemesis for me. Couldn't ever stick the deadpoint. Finally I stuck it this session for the first time but proceeded to slip and fall, almost breaking my ankle. Rested for a bit to ease the pain, hopped back on and sent it a few goes later when my nerves calmed.
Stoked to have climbed this problem! I stuck the move twice the day before but was uncomfortable with the top moves with only my two pads and no spot. Freeman flashed it the next day with Gerry spotting me!
Just when I thought all the classic lines had been done by the Victorians, I found this block, a bit mossy and half-hidden by a vine maple. Beautiful movement, great holds, fun people to climb with; the essence of bouldering, really. (Not exactly sure of the date, sometime summer 2000)
