what a rad blessing of a climb. god damn ! underestimated the top half, went a little too dynamically to a hold, and blew the flash though; so silly. used my brain on the second go. i can see this feeling like V7+ for shorter folks. i think i'm right on the line of having long enough reach so it felt like a quite stiff V6. -
Straightforward pulling. Being tall makes it soft.

height really makes a difference here. feels like it could be anywhere from hard 5 to hard 6 depending on your size. incredible climb no matter what!!

2022-09-14My first Squamish V6! Very reach-dependent opening move that was low percentage for me for a while, which then led into a tricky high left hand move that forced me to work on body tension and balance. The final crux was endurance and keeping it together for the big throw at the end. Certainly a tough project for me especially in the humidity of the summer. Waited for better conditions in September and the send came much easier - I was actually able to just climb and flow through the excellent moves on this problem.

Finally switched up the beta, throwing up left to the lip instead of out left. Sent second go of the day (first time with that beta!), then repeated for good measure!

Stunning boulder! Too bad it's height dependent and therefore hard to grade. I'm 6'0/6'1 (184cm + 5cm) so I could reach easily. It's going to be on the easier side of the grade for me. Definitely a 5-star problem!

When tired I thought it was a soft 7. Going back to it fresh, it was definitely easier. Probably close to 6 with my wingspan. Really good nonetheless - gym-like climbing. Deserves more than 3 stars -

I'm 5'8 and I thought the first move was arguably a V7 move. The rest of the climb is surprisingly pumpy. Still on the soft end though.

Good straightforward climb , flat landing, one big move that's near my maximum reach span. For me, I would say that this 7 felt softer than most squamish 7s. I can see how this climb is a lot harder for those who can't reach as far.
