Getting all the softies this trip. Half hour in it started raining, I busted through to the jug but micro dabbed my pad. So I dropped, cussed loudly, then sent it clean. My hips won't spread to compress so I swung my left heel to the start hold. Really sick.
It's a great climb. Kona's Bulge is 10 feet away and never gets done. This gets flashed like every day. Could be V7? A list of V9s harder than this in Leavenworth would just be a list of all the V9s in Leavenworth. Felt slightly harder than The Rail in Mad Meadows.
Always feels good to come back to a summer sloper project in the fall and day flash it. This is a somewhat controversial climb in both the start holds and the grade. I started my left hand as far back as possible (not on the slightly closer crimp), and this felt around V7 with the right heel hook start.
