Description:
Start at an X-shaped flake and make thin moves to reach a corner. Climb it and then move right to chains.

jerrodshin: Before the big 'reach' part, go to the diagonally sloped side pull with your left hand as a gaston, BUT try to get the higher part of it. Then match with your right hand on the lower part, which is a better hold and will extend the reach part. This saves you energy and time from 'shimmying' the match which is strenuous. Then left foot to a tiny nubbin out left, trust it and reach over to the big angled flat edge way out left. When transitioning to the undercling section above, don't forget a key left foot. This foot hold will be harder to spot if you are wearing a helmet as you are so scrunched to the wall and it is somewhat hidden below a lip. Please do wear a helmet and make effort to deliberately looksie over to spot it. -

Hard to choose whether to go high or low on the giant reach but the crux lies in the pumpy laybacking. Excellent climb!

Really gave it my all at the end of the day on this go. Quality route that does a 180 in style mid-way through. Couldnt have ticked it if Jen didnt put the draws up, thanks Jen!

I'm short, and the giant reach was def reachy! I had to do it somewhat dynamically. Totally different style of climbing 2nd half. Amazing climb.

I first wanted to try this climb years ago because of the name (I’m 5’0). It’s nice to come back and send it easily (and it didn’t even feel reachy!)

My favourite 11c so far. Starts out with some face climbing then move into a technical crux, that with the right position isn’t too reachy. Move through to some fairly burly underclings with no feet that are very prone to slipping.... then cruise a jug haul finish!

pumpy climb with very few feet, but excellent rock quality. highly recommended if you're tall and like pulling on crisp granite edges
