Wow just wow. So stoked on Simon for putting this one down today. It was a tough belay, hardest I've faced so far. Cold temps and a lack of vision of my climber had me shivering and doubting my ability to give a soft catch. Simon's nature of climbing swift and silent left me anxious about the potential hose. Managed to keep my cool as he ascended the wall, consciously feeding/taking rope as necessary until he finally yelled take. What a feeling! Been trying to break into the 5.13 belays for a while, but Sam Wfall kept doing what he does best, leaving me empty handed. Stoked to follow Simon around some more and see what else I can help him put down.
Cool switch up of style. Bouldery start to a good shake, followed by a sustained technical head wall. Took some work to dial in the beta but the movement and position made it an easy route to stay psyched on. On the top 10 list of skaha for me.
