  Was pretty close my first day on this, but fell a couple of times at the last hard move before the chains. Got it first try the next day.

  This thing took me 4-5 sessions over the course of about a month, every time with Rachel either belaying me or in the cheering section. My second try on it, I got to the last bolt, but proceeded to punt for a few more sessions due to sequences or Mononucleosis (haha). Today, Camden was in town and I decided to show him Solar Collector / Dark Side. After being set back by a fallen tree, I finally made it to Miguel's around noon. I'd been working the Force but really had no expectations. When we rolled into the parking lot, Rachel's Jeep was there and I knew I'd have to try hard and go for a send burn. With the help of a new stick clip and Rachel's fancy euro-pants, I chuffed my way through the bottom crux, managed to get it all back at the subsequent rests, and then shaky-leg cruised the final bolt to the chains. YAY! First 13a :) Camden on belay, Rachel + Nick in the cheering section.
