Bertin Wong: Focusing to keep my elbow straight at the crux was key for me. Anytime there was a little bend I'd come off.

This was a battle. took 4 or 5 sessions of numbing out over the past few weeks + periodically trying it over the past few years. Couldn't really make good use of the knee bar so pretty much just climbed through it. Was pumped at the top but the send burn felt so much easier than all the attempts. Most of my time spent on it was figuring out beta that worked for me, went down the third send burn. -

Not my preferred style, but I appreciate the flow and uniqueness of the movement through the crux. I did not find the top to be an issue. The crux of that sequence may be learning how to properly rest on the jug(s) below.

Had been on this a few times over the years but this was my first time giving it the respect it deserves. Came in fresh and worked out the moves. Crux requires a difficult mix of balance and power. Stout 12c.

Longest, hardest project to date. Very beta-intensive, thoughtful, powerful climbing. Tried it a total of ~6 days in 2020 & 2021. Finally started projecting it seriously about 3 weeks ago. Psyched! -
A lot of goes over 4 days. Getting thru the bottom efficiently is key. Fun juggy mid section to a good rest. Top crux I think can be done a bunch of different ways. Awesome route! Happy with this one

Such cool movement. Felt super flowy on the send go but had to put in some work on this one. Took a while to figure out a good way to do the crux. -

What a cool line! This thing has everything you need except a sick dyno. Chose some techy beta for crux 1, then some burly beta for the sleeper crux. Felt so dialed in the end. 2nd go of 3rd session, probably 6 goes total. -

At first it seems tough for the grade with slopey feet but once you feel confident in them it seems appropriate. Good climb for reminding you how to rest.

Almost sent second try two days ago but blew the redpoint crux. Sent second go today. What a great route, totally deserving of top 100. Looking forward to trying the other variations on it.

A full value climb with a couple sweet as boulder problems separated by decent rest. Still manages to be a bit of an enduro fight for me though.

First 12c! In my anti-style as well. This climb exposed my weaknesses and forced me to work on them. My 20th 5.12 too! -

Very enjoyable with a powerful crux - it was a fun challenge fighting the pump to the top. I had always been intimidated by this line... stoked to send in two days :)

Definitely a milestone in my climbing. Last year the crux felt crazy hard. This year it was a breeze definitely noticed a big improvement on this climb again this year. Amazing line and solid 12c for sure

Fun moves. So much fun, I wondered why I wasn't bouldering on even cooler moves with less annoying pump. No more sportz climbz for a while for me thanks. Seriously though, cool climb. Sizeable burly moves, with a couple excellent rests.

2.5 sessions over 4 days. Got flash pumped, but still managed to climb 1 clip past the anchors before coming off. What a great journey.
