Expressway – 5.9
Description:
The furthest right line on Gomer, this three pitch climb is a Cedar Park classic and great first multi. No pitch requires more than 9 quickdraws. Walking off is recommended, although rappelling is also possible
Pitch 1 (5.9): start up the face on jugs and edges to reach a 2-bolt hanging belay. This is the highest quality pitch of the route
Pitch 2 (5.8:) traverse right around a bulge to gain a big ledge. From here, follow the bolts up the slab to a small belay ledge
Pitch 3 (5.7): romp on buckets to finish it off. Keep it together for the mini roof near the final anchor!
