  Graham McGrenere:   For the crux: Instead of going right hand to the jug and then left hand to the finger lock, I went left hand to the jug and back stepped my right foot in the previous jug crack. Went up right hand to the popcorn crimp, locked off, then went left hand into the finger lock as a sidepull and bumped out right to the sidepull in the alcove.

  Vikki Weldon:   I could not for the life of me do the left foot back flag while my right foot is on the small spike for the crux move. I ended up finding a foot out left and doing a left leg drop knee. Definitely more powerful but worked for me!

  My epic with this route is finally over. It was definitely a mental roller coaster for me. Many beta changes, some unconventional beta in the crux, wobblers, and falling 18 times at the redpoint crux culminated in FINALLY sticking the slopey pinch and making my way to the top. A wonderful start to Sendtember. We had a great group out on a rainy Thursday AND Kim is back in town! I wasn't able to make the finger lock in the crux work for me - see Beta section for alternate beta ;)
