Description:
A dramatic arête problem. Start seated at the right end off the sloping lip. Traverse left towards the prow, then top out. Upgraded to V6 post-breakage.

paulk: Right hand on the furthest crimp on the rail. There is a slight thumb catch. That unlocked the climb for me. -
Noah Letkemann: Managed to do a jump from a stretched out position, and catch the opposing face to get to the arete. -
Nathan Roberts: Reverse heel hook or toe hook with the left foot to keep from swinging.

zackhrabarchuk: Left hand on the furthest crimp, heel on the starting dish, left leg flagged under the boulder, then maaaaassive cross-over with the right arm to the arete. -

2024-12-10Sent as a last go hail mary. Thanks Chels and Liam for the support on a frigid night! Genuinely think this boulder is incredibly morpho. For the shorties who can't keep their heel on the lower hole, this shit is V7. Moving the heel up is the crux.

What a finicky, finicky climb for the shorts. I needed so much micro beta for this climb and even then, it felt like it was never going to go until it did. Thanks to Michelle for letting me borrow her right shoe and for supporting despite already sending the night before! And big thanks to Liam for going back home to get my right shoe... and the chalk... and sorry for forgetting the tea..... I WAS DISTRACTED OKAY -
Spend a lot of time muckin around with the shorty beta until I realized I’m SUPER TALL. Bet it suck to be short! Felt great keeping the heel on

Excellent technical climbing, scenic line and surrounding. Exit sequence feels great on either side of the arete. -
Forced it but felt hard. -
Loved this one a lot! Delicate, technical moves to a powerful dead point then some mantel, layback actions to the top. Best V6 I’ve ever done!

Deserves 5 stars for its amazing appearance at the very least. Felt impossible back in 2017 on my first visit, took about ten minutes today.

Two ways to finish this problem - by mantling onto the face and going up the slab, or going around to the left side of the arete -

Really aesthetic boulder. Figured out the beta the other day but the rain declared the session over.

Felt impossible until it didn't, and then I floated up with a light breeze at my back. One of my favourite climbs.

Second session. Lots of tries. Getting over the lip was harder than getting to the lip. I was surprised to find that the problem climbs as aesthetically as it looks.

Awesome! First couple of goes Ii dabbed and beached whaled so bad. Finally got it to go clean. Not sure what the line was, but I mantled up over on the face you start on, not around the corner. Harder? Dunno.

Spent two full sessions with Greg. Dabbed the first go. Couldn't take the send. So wasted many more attempts to get it clean. Sent it just as the rain came in. To be honest, thought I was gonna come up empty handed again. It was a battle
