Greg Bauch: From the start I went right hand to left facing crimp, then bump my left to a mid rail, lock off to reach the crimp rail, found a shitty foot and dyno right hand to upper crimp

throw to the rail was the crux for me. was using all the holds and then eventually honed in my beta to use a minimal amount and felt better -

Nice to flash after getting my ass handed to me on the rock lady wall. Cool cedar alcove, felt like home at Carver.

Lots of beta options. Very approachable. I was just able to deadpoint the crimp rail from the undercling with my 5'8" reach.

Got the Crystal Method done first session and came back and got the lower start that they suggest is V6 in the guide book the next session. Didn't feel incredibly hard for me but it might just be my style of climbing. Also I can see how being short can make this quite a bit harder. Super fun and definitely worth climbing though.

Looks nicer than it climbs. beautiful boulder with cooo holds, but the movement wasn't that rad. The last lock was nice though! I think it feels a bit different if you can use that jug undercling then go to the nice rail. -

This problem might be the best thing to date. My first V5. Fell off the jug finishing holds the weekend before and pouted my way throughout the week. Came back Sunday to a sopping wet boulder where Eli (thankyou) spent 20 minutes trying to get it dry. Slipped off a couple times due to wetness and then realized I actually needed to try harder and stop making excuses.... SENT!
