  wesleygreentree:   Gear beta: Bring lots of small nuts (BD 4 and 5 size). Didn't expect to place so many and ran out of draws. Fortunately, there's a good rest before the crux out of the crack so I could rest and deal with the situation. However, this was my second trad lead, and by far the most committing, so you will probably place less gear than I did. One good 0.5 Camalot placement.

  A rope shredder when lowering - rap from the 5.7 rings on the right. Avoid rapping from the left route to minimize swinging over the sharp lip. Fun route requiring a mix of skills may make it tough for the grade for climbers with no discipline overlap- one part bouldery, one part trad, one part techy sport. Soft if you practice all 3.

  Tough for the grade in the upper sections but lots of fun. I just placed a single nut to kill the run-out section. Pretty awkward/desperate moves above the crack! This should probably have 1 more bolt and be a sport climb.

  Awesome route. Every Heidi Mulbacher FA I've climbed has challenged me. Not a true onsight, because I clipped the first bolt then lowered - wanted to be careful about decking. I put some gear beta in the beta section.

  Excellent route. Wild Hawaiian style black bubbly volcanic rock up on the face. Bouldery start and technical finish.
