Centennial Buttress – 5.7 (trad)

Description:

Route was climbed in the 100th year of the Alpine Club of Canada, hence the name. Climbs the southeast buttress up the prominent rib to climber's left of the East Ridge. Start behind the large flake in the Center of the rib (5.7), at the top of the flake traverse left on a narrow heather ledge. Climb a series of cracks (5.6) to easier ground above. Scramble steep low 5th slabs through a prominent notch to a snow gully that leads to the summit.
