Butterscotch Puddin – 5.8 (trad)
Description:
One of the first recorded climbs (1992, Jody Bernst) on either side of the Nanaimo River and thus a classic. Starts below a big overhang then climbs right into a nice dihedral. The crack takes gear to 1.5” quite well.

2023-06-11Seems a bit of an old school grade, but not terribly difficult for the grade. Chossy...character building... A must-do tradventure for nanaimo-ites. Not something I would chuck a brand new trad-leader on. Technically I flashed it but used some pre-placed gear so I'll take redpoint.
