Lena laitinen: Used the toehook beta for the start, which seems to be what most folks are doing, but also could be the source of the downgrading? Either way, super neat to make so many moves off the toehook, and my hamstring is grateful! Lol -

tried it in the heat and with sun and it felt pretty tricky. came back with good conditions and it went really easy!

Might be v7 if you’re taller than 5 foot 6 but the movement is 5 stars for sure.

Punted second sesh, sent third sesh. Relieved to move on to other objectives but really this climb is worth the time spent.

Three sessions spaced a year apart. Finally had good conditions for those crimps. Taking the guidebook grade. Harder than some of the 8's I've done, easier than Golden Boy, idk about this sport sometimes....

First of the grade! Started from a seat and left toe hook on. Haven't sent enough 8s or 9s to say what this should go at but psyched either way! going with the guide book grade for now. Def a bit morpho but mega fun.

Phew! This took longer than expected to put together despite getting the moves fairly quickly. Kept trying to make the tight heel work for the bump but turns out Liam’s blind corner heel was better. Very fun movement! -

Really liked this line! Picked up some cool beta from a few different folks, and despite making all of the moves quickly, linking them together was tricky. Not experienced enough in this grade range to comment, so just went with the guidebook grade.

After I figure out the deal with the tow hooks, this one went pretty swimmingly! Two ‘9’s today!

weird day. got totally shut down by Houdini, felt exhausted trying Chicken Lips, but decided to come try this. conditions were nice and breezy; really a perfect afternoon. first try touched the right crimp and decided to let go. chalked up again and floated to the top. kept waiting for the hard part but it never came. love a toe hook!

I dont think I understand the grades in Squamish hahaha. This felt very soft for v9. Maybe morpho, definitely easier if youre taller. Amazing problem regardless. I really liked the toehook sequence and the compression -

What a great climb. Toe hooks, heels, crimps, slopers, pinches. The walk out was wet and I slided half way down of it...good time.

Epitomized my lack of fitness for this trip. Only was able to scrape up it because of the heel hooks and ticky tack moves. Not a bad line though. A poor man's version of Rose Colored Glasses @ Carver. -
Pretty neat with the dubble toe hookies. And a heel hook on the other side of the boulder. Fun sidepull movement up top. MATT LUCAS BETAZ (TM). BIG UPS.
