  Maddy Marchuk:   You can clean/lower off the anchor with an 80m rope. Cleaning will be much easier if you run out the last couple fixed draws and victory whip off the top!

  what a mega line. did it all in one long pitch. the rope drag was real when traversing the last section at the top. didn't help i was getting pretty pumped while trying to hold onto the holds and trying to not drop what felt like a really heavy rope and trying to clip. the step off the ledge to open space was so exposed. amazing views from up top. thank goodness for the permadraws at the end. took us a bit of figuring out how to do this climb. had a 70m rope. got lowered to the lowest rap station (which was quite a pain), then top belayed my partner up to it and then top roped the rest while cleaning the gear. then lowered partner to the bottom, and then i rapped down from the rap station. epic send.

  Probably the most blinkin epic climb in the history of climbs. A 45 minute ascent of tech slab to vert to jug hauling to an epic roof traverse 45 metres off the ground with a banger view of lake louise. What more could you ask for?

  Felt intimidated by the line so felt like I had to confront that. It's full package. Tech slab down low, overhang jugs up high and the outrageous exposure on the final traverse up high, plus you have to manage the rope properly. With even more extended slings and backcleaning than the guide suggests you can get the rope drag down to a manageable level. What would happen if the average 5.11 climber, who doesn't know how to boink fell at the top? Would you just be hanging in space with not enough rope to lower and unable to boink back up?

  Only reason this is 11b is because of the 40lbs of rope drag, the climbing and the views on this guy r just amazing. Sure rope drag sucks and cleaning isn't ideal but damn this is one hell of a climb!!

  Happy that I didn't have to clean this monster. Looked painful for my partner! The last 10 meters may make all the pain worthwhile... may. If you asked my partner, he'd say it wasn't worth it.
