Predominantly a beginners area bolted in the late 1970’s with a handful of new harder climbs bolted in 2020 onwards. A beautiful area great for hanging out by the river and climbing with mixed ability groups. Most cliffs face S and SW and catch sun all day starting in mid March onwards.
Freedom camping is allowed in the area. Leave no trace.
Park in the ditch on Hwy 40 at Porcupine Creek (Porcupine Ridge Trailhead in Google Maps) 35min drive from Canmore, followed by a lovely flat 15min approach up the creek to arrive at Blind Man’s bluff. Be prepared to cross the creek many times
