Ogawayama is widely regarded as the premier granite bouldering and trad climbing destination in Japan. Located in the Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, the area features a vast expanse of forest-scattered boulders and multi-tier cliffs composed of high-quality, sound granite. The climbing style is characterized by technical slab, steep face climbing, and demanding mantles on friction-dependent holds, alongside world-class granite boulders distributed across numerous distinct sectors.
