Lightning Rock
Description:
A single granite block, about 15 feet tall, adjacent to Hydro easement behind Ladysmith. Mostly easy bouldering but potential for a couple hard problems.
Directions:
Park at the end of Davidson Rd, do not drive further, private property. Walk up gravel driveway and turn left onto Hydro line easement. Walk past a couple houses on right along gravel road, over a small bridge, then past a locked yellow gate, then stay left at a Y in the road 100 yards past gate. About 50 feet past Y look for a well worn trail on the right, hike uphill into forest about 100 feet, boulder is on the left. Lat/long 48.990534/-123.840515. Total walking time 5 minutes.
